Overdraft Defender
Do you need protection from overdrafts? Overdraft Defender will give you the protection you deserve from having your checks returned due to insufficient funds. Overdraft Defender is a special privilege for United Bank of Iowa clients whose checking accounts are in good standing.

Debit Card
We offer two debit cards - the standard debit card and the photo debit card.  Both cards combine ATM capability with debit service at any merchant that accepts Visa®! A debit card gives you all the convenience of an ATM card, plus the ability to make purchases right from your checking account! 

Internet Banking
UBI Internet Banking allows you to bank 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the comfort of your home, office, or wherever you are! You can check your balance, transfer funds, and even pay your bills. Check Imaging
You receive all the benefits of  The Better Checking System. Your cancelled checks are returned to you as images neatly sorted, in check number order, three hole punched and ready to store in a binder provided by United Bank of Iowa. Imagine the simplicity of preparing your taxes...instead of shoe boxes stuffed with years of statements, you can open a 3-ring binder and have everything at a glance. It’s simple, organized, convenient and provided at no additional cost.

e-Statements
e-Statements are fast, efficient and free! An e-Statement looks just like the traditional paper statement you get in the mail, however it is sent to you electronically via email. Since they are electronic, you can receive your account information much faster than you did before - the same day it is generated at the bank. Another benefit is you won't have any paper to file or shred, however if you like to save a paper statement, you still have the option to print it. And, e-Statements are safe.
