Ubi KIDS SAVINGS CLUB

This is a special savings club for Unique Banking Individuals age twelve and under. Become a club member by opening a savings account (and earn interest) with a balance of $5.00 or more.

Our Goal:
To develop a banking relationship with children age twelve and under by teaching them good savings habits, money management, and banking services while having fun.

Our Mascot:
"Hi kids, I’m 'Ubi' the Money Bee and I think savings is sweet!" I’m named after United Bank of Iowa. I am also a Unique Banking Individual just like you...with my own special savings needs. As you grow up, I want to help you learn about banking and saving money while having fun!

Here’s what’s buzzin’:
Club members receive Ubi bucks when making deposits which can be used to purchase free-bees. Isn’t that a honey of a deal?

What is a Ubi Buck?
It is our special club cash that members receive with a deposit of $1.00 or more. We want to encourage children to make their own deposits, therefore deposits made by the child will be rewarded with two Ubi bucks and deposits made by an adult to the child’s account will earn one Ubi buck.

What is a Free-bee?
Free-bees are special gifts to reward kids for savings their money. Members can purchase free-bees with their Ubi bucks. Stop in to check out our display of free-bees – it is unbeelievable!

Ubi's Deposit Prize:
We want to reward you for putting money in your savings account.  Each month every office will have a drawing* for a really cool prize . . . like a Ubi Kids Club sweatshirt, T-shirt, cooler, and other cool prizes.  It's very simple.  Your name is automatically entered in our drawing* when you make a deposit.  Each office will draw a winner on the first day of the month from all the deposits made during the previous month.  So, kids, if you make a deposit each month, you will always automatically be entered in the drawing!        

Newsletter - "The Buzz":
All club members receive a newsletter called The Buzz. It features invitations to upcoming parties, announces Ubi Day activities, teaches members about saving, has fun puzzles, jokes and more!

Parties:
The club sponsors two parties each year for club members to attend. What could it bee?  Bowling? A movie? Rollarskating? Swimming?  Watch The Buzz to find out!
